Study Tips
Study is an important part of our life and when
it gets organized and planned, it becomes more fruitful. Studying can be
tiresome , specially when you are under a lot of pressure.
Here are some useful tips for you to study better:
Uninterrupted
study sessions of half hour are a must. Have multiple sessions of 30 minutes
rather than 1 session of 2 hours! Our brain can easily retain information from
the first and the last 15 minute of studying. This means that whatever you read
in between will likely be forgetten. So in order to make into our long term
memory, we must study only for 30 minutes at a time. Studying hours and hours
will be like spending a whole day searching a grain from bushes and at the end
of the day, it will be of no use!
Ø TAKE A BREAK:
After 30 minutes of studying, take 10
minutes break. It will be like a powerbank for your uncharged brain and helps
it to rewire. In this break you can do anything you like.
For ex: eat something, lishen to music,do some yoga poses or have a quick nap

STOPWATCH:
By setting a timer for 30
minutes and focusing on a single task will give you better results. It will
pressurize your mind to complete the task.
Time
is limited.A tight deadline can save you from procrastination.

Sitting
at desk while studying will send good vibes to your brain .It leads to a more
focused study. So many people lay on the floor, sit on a bed or sofa to study,
this will make you sleepy. When you are sitting on a chair. Psychologically-
your posture will send neurological signal to your brain that you are studying
whereas if you are on your bed, your brain might think that its time for sleep.
Ø NO ALERTS MODE:
Put your mobile in aeroplane mode when you study. Cut out all
email alerts,SMS,Facebook and other notifications on your mobile,PC,tab or
computer. They cause distractions, and make learning less efficient.
Ø STAY HYDRATED:
Keep a water bottle or jug with you while studying. When we keep
our body hydrated ,it helps the heart more easily pump blood through the blood
vessels and increases metabolism. It will boost up your mind and help you to
remain attentive.
