7 ways to Avoid Distractions and Stay

time we decide to complete a work and try to focus, we fell prey to
distractions. There are so many things all around, how a single being cope up with everything and
yeah ! single handedly.There are many times when we take a task and are not able
complete it even after 24 hours!.

you , StOp! Don’t panic ,we all are social beings and are designed to socialize.
So keep it out of your mind that you will remain in peace without any distractions
.But we can do something to minimize this. Here are some effective tips for you
to avoid path breakers while working.
1. DON’T even
try to be a multi-tasker :
This is one of the biggest mistakes that you do . If you think that multitasking is a good thing then please drop that idea .Try to focus on a single task. This will increase your productivity.
2. Switch off
your phone:
This is what we all notice and one of the major reason why you are
here!. We should try to minimise phone use. I suggest you to switch off your or put in
aeroplane mode while you are focusing on a work. It’s a very helpful thing for
students too. It is difficult to adopt a habit successfully but I know you will do
this.
3. Have a clean
working space:
It is very important to organize yourself. Before starting your
work you must clean your workspace and bring work material that you require,at a place.This will give
a sense of inner peace.
4. Keep word “LATER”
out of your dictionary
This word is the synonym to procrastination. Try to remember, there
are many things that you haven’t yet completed, just because of your laziness. See!
Every answer for “ not completing a work or not studying” is not “I will do it
later.”
This is the word which you use only to satisfy your lazy mind. Remember
laziness lie in your brain .
5. Prioritize your
work:
There are many times we get headache just because there are a
lot of things to do .So list the work or assignments which are more important for you at the
present situation .This will make the work get done by giving a sense of
direction and clearity.
6. Take breaks:
Take small breaks while doing a task. It will be like a powerbank for your uncharged brain and helps it to rewire.In this break you can do anything you like.
For ex: eat something, lishen to music,do some yoga poses or have a quick nap
7. Ask people
to give you privacy:
When you are studying or completing your work. Make sure to be at
a peaceful place. If you are in your room then before sitting inform your
family members about this .If your friends complain that you did not pick up
there call or didn’t reply them then tell the reason. There is nothing to be
afraid or ashamed of. See! they are your family and friends. They will
understand. Don’t hesitate to say it.
